		<description>I am not sure if freebies work. Maybe they work if you are mega popular. I have free downloadble songs on myspace and reverbnation, but not many people have downloaded the songs. The other problem I find with growing a fanbase is that most people might pop over and have a listen and surf away, its very hard to ask them for them to join a newsletter or blog if they are not mega into your music. I suppose I am still learning. What I do now is I try to promote my personal site:

and I use social network sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace to attract them. I also find that different listeners use different websites, so it is better to cover all bases.</description>
